Overview

May Modern Construction Co., Ltd. ("May Modern," "we," "us," or "our") operates this website to present our work and let prospective clients and partners reach us. This policy explains what information we collect when you use this site, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices available to you. It applies only to maymodern.com. It does not cover information we may hold about you through other channels, such as a physical meeting, a printed proposal, or a phone call.

We are a construction and steel fabrication contractor headquartered in Yangon, Myanmar. We are not an advertising company, and this site does not run advertising networks or sell visitor data. This policy is written in plain language rather than dense legal boilerplate so it is actually useful to read.

Information We Collect

Information you give us directly. When you submit the enquiry form on this site, we collect whatever you enter into it:

• Full name: required
• Email address: required, used to reply to you
• Company name: optional
• Phone number: optional
• Enquiry subject and message: required, whatever project details you choose to share
• Attached documents or photos: optional, up to six files

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting and infrastructure providers automatically log some technical information for every visitor (IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited) as a byproduct of serving the site and keeping it secure. We do not currently run analytics or advertising tracking scripts (no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no similar tools), so we do not build visitor profiles or track you across other websites.

How We Use It

We use the information submitted through the enquiry form for one purpose: to understand and respond to your enquiry. Specifically, we use it to:

• Reply to your message and discuss your project or enquiry
• Route the enquiry internally to the right person or division (MMC, MSC, or GSI)
• Keep a record of past enquiries for our own reference

We do not use your contact details for marketing emails or newsletters, and we do not sell, rent, or trade your information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Third-Party Services We Use

We rely on a small number of established infrastructure providers to run this site. Submitting the enquiry form means your information passes through the following services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

• Google Firebase (Firestore & Authentication): enquiry submissions and project data are stored in Google's Firestore database. Our administrative team signs in via Firebase Authentication to manage the project portfolio. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Cloudinary: any files or photos you attach to an enquiry are uploaded to Cloudinary, a media-hosting service, so we can view them alongside your message. See Cloudinary's Privacy Policy.
• Google Fonts: this site loads typefaces from Google's font service, which means your browser makes a direct request to Google's servers to fetch them. See Google's Privacy Policy.

We do not control how these providers handle data at the infrastructure level beyond the settings we configure, but we have selected providers with established security practices and use them only for the purposes described above.

Storage & Retention

Enquiry submissions are retained in our systems for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you and maintain a business record of the correspondence, generally no longer than a few years unless we have an ongoing relationship or a legal reason to keep it longer. If you would like us to delete your enquiry record, contact us using the details below and we will action that request.

Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect the information submitted through this site, including access-controlled administrative accounts and encrypted connections (HTTPS) between your browser and our hosting provider. That said, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please avoid including highly sensitive personal information (such as financial account numbers or national ID numbers) in the enquiry form.

Your Rights & Choices

Regardless of where you are writing from, you can ask us at any time to:

• Tell you what information we hold about you
• Correct information that is inaccurate
• Delete your enquiry record from our systems
• Stop using your information for a purpose you did not originally agree to

Children's Privacy

This site is intended for business enquiries from adults and companies. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and the enquiry form is not directed at them.
